Pastor Appreciation Month

In this season of thanksgiving, our youngest are also showing their appreciation to our pastoral staff. They recognize these folks as teachers, preachers, prayer leaders and friends.

Thanks be to God!

Sunday, October 1 was a special day for us! Leslie Peterson was installed as Commissioned Pastor for Pastoral Care at Kenilworth Presbyterian Church. After years of study and a year of internship, she is now officially serving our members and congregants, along with Allen Smith, our Senior Pastor and Edna Banes, our Parish Associate. While she can preach, officiate for weddings, funerals, communion, etc., her main emphasis will be providing pastoral care for needs of the homebound, those who are ill, and other various concerns.

We are rooted in the stories of the Bible and believe worship can be expressed in everything we do. Our philosophy is founded on the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. Called by God to welcome all people into the Christian Community, we strive to exhibit God's unconditional love and hospitality to everyone, including all people without regard to race, age, sexual orientation, physical and mental ability, education, or economic class. No matter who you are, there is a special place for you at our church! We share our gifts of time, talent, and treasure to serve God in our community and the world.

Worship With Us Each Sunday at 11:00 a.m.

Prayer and worship form the basis of Kenilworth Presbyterian Church. In addition to a regular Sunday service, we offer time for prayer, personal reflection, guided Bible study, fellowship, and various other events. Contact us or pay us a visit for more information.

Children's Service:  As a part of our Sunday service, children are asked to come forward and sit for a brief lesson from a staff member, after which they have the opportunity to go to another area for additional activities until the worship time is concluded.
